The relationship has developed throughout the years based on mutual regard and economics rather than transactions, despite being one of Pakistan's first official relationships. The two countries were interdependent due to the fact that the United States required Pakistan to fulfill its economic demands and strategic objectives and Pakistan needed the United States to ensure its security. Pakistan and the United States have discovered methods to collaborate on Afghanistan. When it comes to economic and strategic collaboration, the United States remains skeptical of Pakistan and China. This gives the impression that Washington is trying to appease Beijing with its policy toward Pakistan. Since the United States is ignoring India, Pakistan is concerned for its own safety.
